Teenager Arrested After Throwing Knife At Mother, Sibling - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Police arrested a teenager for aggravated domestic assault after responding to a report that the juvenile had thrown a knife at their mother and a sibling in their home in the 9500 block of Dutton Lane. The teenager was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit in Chattanooga.

A traffic stop in the 5500 block of Tallant Road resulted in the driver being charged with driving without a license, possession of marijuana, and a registration violation. A passenger was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Collegedale police assisted Chattanooga police with a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Lee Highway and Ooltewah Georgetown Road.

A minor crash was reported in the 4400 block of Tallant View Terrace.

An unknown 9-1-1 call came in from the Ooltewah Middle School. No emergencies were found.

A traffic stop in the 10000 block of Lee Highway led to the driver being charged with driving without a license.

A traffic stop in the 10100 block of Lee Highway resulted in the driver’s arrest for felony possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, and driving in on a suspended license.

A vehicle left abandoned in the construction zone and right of way in the 9500 block of Apison Pike was towed from the scene.

An officer was requested to check the well being of an elderly individual allegedly walking in the roadway in the 10100 block of Apison Pike. The area was checked but no one was found.

Shoppers leaving Walmart flagged down police for a vehicle door that was left open. While investigating, the vehicle owners came out of the store. The owners checked their vehicle and reported that nothing seemed to be missing at the time.

Collegedale officers assisted sheriff’s deputies with a broken down vehicle in the 9500 block of Lee Highway.

A Collegedale fugitive was transported from the Bradley County Jail to the Hamilton County Jail on a failure to appear warrant.
