The School of Music at Southern Adventist University invites the community to climb aboard for a journey through diverse musical landscapes featuring the Bel Canto, Die Meistersinger, and I Cantori choirs. The concert, titled “All Aboard,” will take place on Sunday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Mabel Wood Hall’s Ackerman Auditorium on campus.
Directed by Gennevieve Brown-Kibble, repertoire will include original compositions by Rosephanye Powell and Pablo Casals. Powell is an American choral composer, singer, professor, and researcher and has been hailed as one of America's premier composers of choral music. Casals was a Spanish and Puerto Rican cellist, composer, and conductor.
