The Friends of the Parks - South Cumberland, Savage Gulf, and Head of the Crow invite nature enthusiasts to the 21st annual Trails & Trilliums festival, set for April 4-6, at the historic Beersheba Springs Assembly.
This year's theme, "Wonders Hiding in Plain Sight," emphasizes the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of the South Cumberland Plateau.
Festival Highlights:

Over 80 Activities: Participants can choose from a diverse lineup of hikes, workshops, exhibits, and panel discussions catering to all interests and fitness levels.

Plenary Session: On Saturday at noon, attendees will learn about discovering a new phacelia species on the Plateau, showcasing the power of citizen science and keen observation.

Expert-Led Panels: Topics include transforming yards into biodiverse habitats, the impact of conservation properties on public life, exploring the lives of naturalists through literature, and uncovering history through archaeology and song.

Entertainment: Enjoy a Friday night Hootenanny with local musicians and the annual Wine and Wildflowers celebration on Saturday, featuring live music and dancing.
