Upcoming Special Event Road Closures Announced

The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announces the following upcoming special event road closures.

- Chattanooga Seafood Bash On The River 2025 - note new location this year of Ross' Landing.
The following locations will be closed from Thursday, April 24 at 12:01 a.m. until Sunday, April 23  at 11:59 p.m. for the annual Chattanooga Seafood Bash On The River:
•         Riverfront Parkway from E. Aquarium Way to the Molly Lane north access.
•         All truck traffic greater than two axles will be prohibited between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Molly Lane (unless making local deliveries within the restricted area or directly related to the festival).
•         Power Alley from W.
Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway.
•         Chestnut Street from W. Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway.
•         The ramp from Veterans Bridge southbound to Riverfront Parkway westbound.
•         All street parking between Molly Lane and E. Aquarium Way on Riverfront Parkway will be closed for the duration of the closure. 
The main parking lot between Power Ally and Molly Lane (under the HWY 27 Bridge) will remain open for festival attendees, patrons of the Chattanooga Riverboat Company, Erwin Marine, etc). 
 
- Moth Ball by CityScope
Reggie White Boulevard between W. 19th Street and the Skate Park access road will be closed Thursday, April 24 from 8-10 p.m. for the Moth Ball by CityScope.  
 
- NormalPalooza
Garnett Avenue between Mississippi Avenue and Worthington Street will be closed Saturday, April 26 from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. for Normalpalooza. Through traffic on Dugdale Street to Garnett Avenue will also be restricted.  Detours will be posted. 
 
- Hello St. Elmo!
St. Elmo Avenue between W. 38th Street and Tennessee Avenue will be closed Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for the annual Hello St. Elmo Festival. Access to St. Elmo Avenue from Slivels Lane and Old Mountain Road will also be restricted during this time. Detours will be posted. 
 
- Nightmare On Houston Street
Houston Street between Flynn Street and E. MLK Boulevard will be closed Saturday, October 26 from 2 p.m.-midnight for Nightmare On Houston Street sponsored by The Bitter Alibi.
 
- Chattanooga Market
Reggie White Boulevard between W. 19th Street and the Skate Park access road will be closed Sunday,  April 27 from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. for the Chattanooga Market.
