Teresa Diane Hillis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025. She was a cherished member of Lakeview First Baptist Church and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Teresa was married to her devoted husband, Mike Hillis, for 41 years. Their life together was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and faith. She is survived by her loving parents, James and Linda Willhoit, who were a constant source of strength and support in her life.

She leaves behind her son, Wendell Hillis, and his wife, Jackie, as well as her brother, Brian Willhoit, and his wife, Christy. Teresa was a proud and devoted grandmother to Travis Hillis, Daylan Hillis, Dylan Hillis, and Nancy Sanchez, and a doting great-grandmother to Sam and Dustin Hillis. She loved her nephews Stephen and Alex Willhoit, and nieces Julie Willhoit, Magen McCormick and Kellie Willhoit. Her family was her joy, and her legacy will live on through each of them.
