The Bucs of Boyd Buchanan earned a trip the Division II-A state semifinals with a 6-0 shutout over Goodpasture.
The scoring was led by Andrew (Drew) Pollard with a hat-trick, and Fiston Mugisha with a brace (2 goals), and Taylor Wood with one goal. Asher Flanagan had an excellent game with several assists. The great defensive play of seniors Sam Jones and Hayden Sarchet kept Goodpasture to a scoreless game.
The Bucs will play Knox Grace in the state semi-final game on Tuesday.
Knox Grace defeated Franklin Grace this evening. Notre Dame was defeated by Webb Bell Buckle by a score of 5-0.
