Antwone C. “Twone” Boykin, 26, departed this life on April 30, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1998, to the parents of Stephanie Lane and Anthony Boykin.

Immediately after birth, God blessed Antwone with guardian angels, Kimberly and Ronald Boykin, as parents. He was a true blessing and the apple of their eye.

Antwone accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the pastorate of Rev.Wayne L Johnson, New Hope M.B. Church. He was active in the children’s ministry and had a gift of singing. He also participated in mime performances under the direction of Sis. M (Maronica). His mom, Kim, kept him surrounded with all church services and youth activities.

Antwone’s early education began at Lilyland Learning Center and from there to Orchard Knob Elementary as a Pre-K student. Later, he was enrolled at Barger Academy. Twone’s love for music allowed him to be a part of the school's chorus. At the end of his elementary years, he auditioned Justin Bieber’s “Baby” lyrics to obtain entrance into CCA, where he continued his love and gift for music. Antwone was in the stringed music department playing the viola. He later enrolled at Brainerd High School. While there, he never lost his God-given talent and love for music. This was evident as he was a member of the school band. He concluded his high school education, graduating from Brainerd High School, class of 2017.

Antwone’s professional life was short but allowed him to search and seek out his footing at both Amazon and Volkswagen.

The happiest you could ever find Twone would be rapping, skateboarding, and writing his own lyrics, an avid fan of all three. His love for music was attached to his God-given talent, which allowed him to play by ear both string and brass instruments. Antwone could often be found sitting beside the late Ronnie White at the piano and organ. This was once again his versatility in the never-ending world of music.

Antwone was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwina (Lamar) Trollinger; his guardian angel mom, Kimberly Boykin, and other great aunts and uncles.

Antwone is survived by his parents, Stephanie Lane, and Anthony Boykin of Chattanooga; siblings, Antreaniece, Antranet, Anthony, Maleek, Christopher, Antqunisha, Antonio, Antoria, and Tory, Several other relatives and friends.

He also leaves to cherish his memories, his guardian angel father, Ronald Boykin; grandfather, Lewis (Dee Dee) Henderson; grandmother, Delores Henderson; uncles, SMSgt Terence (Audrey) Hendeson, Cedric Henderson, Lexington, KY., Command Sergeant Major Kevin Henderson; great-aunt, Alice Brewer; his Village Families, Johnsons x2, Sales, Shelmons, Smiths, Greers, Fosters, and Boozers; a host of other relatives and friends.
