25-005630 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person / Arrest
Police observed a man sleeping on the sidewalk next to the grocery store. The officer checked on him and found him to be highly intoxicated and a danger to himself. He was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

25-005588 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder –
Officers were called to the hospital after a man refused to leave following a medical discharge.
He left on his own after being prompted to do so by the police.
25-005597 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
Staff reported a female had stolen$141.85 worth of merchandise. The female then left in a white Nissan Rogue. Pending identification of the suspect, a warrant for Theft of Property will be sought.
25-005602 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice
A man attempted to purchase an $8,000.00 dirt bike using a fraudulent credit card. The male provided a Tx. driver’s license that identified him as the same name on the credit card. Further investigation showed the license returned to a male of a different race. Pending identification of the suspect, warrants for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Identity Theft will be sought.
25-005587 – 3700 BLK Whitehead Avenue - Backup Fire
ERPD and ERFD responded to this residence after the homeowners reported a burning smell. ERPD stood by while ERFD checked the residence. No obvious signs of smoke or fire were observed.
25-005593 – 1015 Yale Street - Burglary
Police responded to the Old City Garage after the Streets Department observed a broken glass pane in the roll up door and an unlocked exterior door. Police conducted a protective sweep of the facility where no people were located. Employees stated a wooden bench with an AM/FM radio was knocked over, but nothing appeared to be missing.
25-005603 – 900 BLK S Seminole Drive - Backup Fire -
Police were dispatched to the Ridge Terrace Apartments to assist ERFD while they investigated an automatic fire alarm activation. ERFD reset the alarm.
25-005595-4000 BLK Dellway Cir.-Missing/ Found Adult
Police responded to this address on reports of a missing elderly female. According to her husband, she had taken the car and left at approximately 7 a.m. Her husband advised her to have severe dementia. Police were later informed by dispatch that she had been found in Floyd County, Ga. Family was notified, and the female was taken out of NCIC as missing.
25-005604-1300 BLK St. Thomas St.- Psychiatric Emergency
Police responded to the housing on reports of a man who was experiencing a psychiatric emergency. The subject was acting erratic and rambling incoherently. He eventually agreed to be transported for further evaluation.

25-005619 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served an Alias Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge on the capias warrant was Driving with License Revoked, Cancelled or Suspended.
25-005622 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Assist Citizen
A concerned mother requested Police assistance after she locked herself out of her vehicle. She had a young child with her, and a heavy rainstorm was moving into the area. Police assisted the young mother and child until a locksmith was able to unlock the vehicle.
25-005626 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder / Arrest
Hospital staff reported that a man had been caught smoking inside the building. Staff and security personnel both made multiple demands for him to leave but he refused. Upon arrival, Police issued verbal commands for him to vacate the property, and he still refused to leave. He was taken into custody, at which time, he became aggressive and non-compliant with officers. He was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Criminal Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.
25-005627 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous
A female called the 911 Dispatch Center and stated a man struck her in the face. The reporting party would not provide an address for the incident and refused to discuss the matter with Police. Upon further investigation, it was determined that CPD received an identical complaint in January from the same phone number. No evidence was provided to substantiate the assault claim.
25-005629 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop
During a severe rainstorm, Police observed a red pickup truck towing a white SUV on a trailer. The trailer had a blown tire and was riding on a rim. Due to the observed safety hazard, Police conducted a traffic stop and informed the driver he could not operate in that condition on public roadways. The driver left the trailer in a parking lot until a replacement tire could be obtained.
