Standifer Gap Road will be closed Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, between Jenkins Road and Bill Reed Road, for roadway repairs in preparation for forthcoming paving and safety enhancements.
Detour routes will be in place, using Jenkins Road to Old Lee Highway, then Green Shanty Road to Bill Reed Road (map attached). Motorists should plan for delays, allow additional time for their drive, and avoid the area if possible.
Residents within the closure and emergency personnel will have access to and from their homes.
