Harold Hensley, 73, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home in Saltville, Virginia.
Harold had been an automobile mechanic with John Hicks Oldsmobile and Don Woods Volkswagen. He had also been owner and operator of “Broke Down Trucking.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Clifford Hensley, Sr. and Goldie Abshire Hensley and a sister, Delores Stoner.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hensley, sister, Alice (Richard) Lambert and brother, Larry (Jeri) Hensley; daughter, Diane (Tony) Recoy; son Mike (Charley) Wieczorek; grandchildren, Rhyann Williams, Kaiden Williams, Bradley McGuffey, Caelyn Recoy, Logan Recoy and Charlie Goodman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge with Rev. Dean Skipper officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
