A huge tree took out a pole and lines during the Saturday storm. We are on a small circuit so I thought, well, it's going to be awhile before they get to us.
The contractor, Valley Storm Services, showed up about 3 p.m. yesterday and they literally worked through the night to replace the pole and wires. And it was not easy to get to as it's in the woods.
Unfortunately our neighbors had their yard torn up with the equipment but they said it was worth it to get power restored so quickly. Our power came back on about 3:30 today, less than 48 hours after it went out.
I talked to one of the guys after it came back on and said I wish I could buy every one of you a cold beer or three. I thanked him and shook his hand.
