Starting pitcher Zach Willeman led the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 4-3 victory in Game One of Saturday's doubleheader against the Columbus Clingstones. Willeman struck out seven in six innings and allowed only two runs on five hits. He moves to 2-0 on the season with a 2.37 earned run average. Left fielder Ethan O'Donnell knocked in two of the Lookouts four runs with a sixth inning double.
In Game Two starter Brandon Komar lasted only two innings and surrendered four runs on six hits in a 5-3 loss. Ruben Ibarra hit his twelfth homerun and shortstop Edwin Arroyo had two hits in the loss.
The two teams will complete the series on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
