  • Monday, August 25, 2025

Patsy Lee Landers Thornton, 74, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Patsy was born on July 7, 1951, to the late Frank and Mary Landers.

Patsy married her high school sweethear,t Skip Thornton. Together they had two boys, Michael and Jason Thornton, whom they loved more than life itself. Patsy cherished the role of Grandmother AKA Nana to six grandchildren, Zach, Chase, Whitaker, Hayden, Olivia and Savannah. Patsy is also survived by her sister, Sally Dargan; brother, Todd Landers and stepbrother, Perry Mason.

Patsy was a friend to many and you can bet every time she saw you, you were getting a “hug and sugar” before you left.

The family also extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Memorial MICU for their compassionate care of our beloved Patsy.

The family will have a private celebration of her life and take comfort in knowing Patsy is now pain free, and she and Skip are reunited in a joyous homecoming celebration with the Lord.

Arrangements are entrusted to Covenant Funeral & Crematory, Crox family owned and operated, www.CovenantFuneral.com.
