Patsy Gaye Christian Ford, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Born in Chattanooga, she was of the Presbyterian faith. Patsy passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, love and unwavering devotion to her family. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved fiercely and we know her light will continue to shine through all of those who came to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Glanis Christian and Thelreta May Snyder Christian; and two brothers, Daniel Christian and Henry Callahan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Gene Ford; son, Joseph Henry (Courtney) Ford; two sisters, Shirley Aldridge and Nancy Leonard; and three grandchildren, Joshua Hunter (Heidi) Ford, Jakob Dillon (Gracie) Ford, and Tobias Mac Ford; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

A family graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
