I believe that, for the most part, we all agree that our police and fire departments (along with teachers) are among the most essential professionals in our community. They also hold the unfortunate status of being some of the most underpaid and under-appreciated. Lookouts Smoked In Series Opener

The Chattanooga Lookouts started their six game series in Knoxville against the Smokies and found themselves down 11-0 after only two innings. Starting pitcher Jared Lyons had a performance to forget, lasting just an inning and two thirds and allowing six earned runs. Reliever Easton Sikorski certainly couldn't stop the bleeding allowing the next five runs in only two thirds of an inning.
