City Council Committee To Meet Tuesday To Try To Find More Savings In City Budget

An Ad Hoc Committee will meet Tuesday to try to identify more savings - and less tax increase - in the city budget. Councilman Chip Henderson is heading up the panel that will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the J.B. Collins Room at the City Council Building behind City Hall at 10th and Lindsay. Lookouts Offense Breaks Out In 9-3 Victory

After a frustrating week offensively for the Chattanooga Lookouts the bats finally broke out on Saturday night as they clubbed the division leading Birmingham Barons by a score of 9-3. Four hitters had multiple hit games in the ten hit, eight walk performance for Chattanooga. Ruben Ibarra hit his 13th homer of the season in the fourth inning with two runners on.
