Andy Barry Jones, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on April 23, 2025. A true Chattanooga original, Andy had the kind of energy and charisma that made everyone feel like a friend. He never met a stranger, and his zest for life made a lasting impression on all who knew him. East Ridge Man Charged With Terrorizing Prisoners During Bosnian War Is Found Not Guilty

An East Ridge Man charged in Chattanooga Federal Court with terrorizing prisoners during the Bosnian civil war has been found not guilty of all charges. The jury deliberated on Friday afternoon before finding in favor of Sead Miljkovic, who adopted the last name Dukic after coming to the U.S. Miljkovic was charged with three counts of inflicting torture on prisoners under his supervision as well as passport fraud. Sikkema Leads Lookouts Over Biscuits

The Chattanooga Lookouts received their second straight strong pitching performance on Thursday night with left hander T.J. Sikkema throwing six shutout innings and leading the Lookouts to a 2-1 victory over the Montgomery Biscuits. Sikkema allowed four hits with six strikeouts and moved to 2-0 on the season.
