Yep, what's called a Farmer's Coke" was a thing. Coca Cola and peanuts. It's much better in a bottled Coke....plus an entertaining puzzle trying to get a swig of Coke with a few peanuts at the same time. My Granddad was the parts manager at Benny Jackson Ford and after school, I would pop in to visit. They had the vending machines for Lance peanuts and small bottled Cokes. The good ol' days.
