Larry Allen "Pete" Braden, 44, of Georgetown, died Monday Dec. 2, 2002, at his home.

He was a native of Clinton, Tenn., but had lived in the Chattanooga area most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde H. Braden; brothers, Jerry and David Braden; and sister, Linda Braden.

He is survived by his mother, Clara "Ann" Cartwright, Georgetown; daughter, April Johnson, Hixson; sisters, Connie Ann Lee, Georgetown, Lisa Jackson, LaFayette, Ga.; special friend, Freddie Shipley, Chattanooga; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Gary Bumgardner and the Rev. Don Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Homes in Chattanooga and Friday from 2-3 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Clinton.

Arrangements are by the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Homes.
