The Chattanooga Locomotion women's football team begins its second season on Saturday.
The Locomotion host the Alabama Renegades, last year's division leader, at Central High School at 7 p.m.
Steve Lewis, assistant coach, said, "We return a great group of core players and we have added some absolutely excellent players.
"We have very high expectations."
Among the top new players, he listed Nicole Henry, a rugby player from Whitwell; Shalimar Folds, a quarterback/running back from Meansville, Ga.; Loan Dale, a running back from Fort Oglethorpe, and Lori Moss, a linebacker from Mississippi.
Admission at the gate is $12.
