  • Tuesday, September 2, 2003

The Berry College Ford Festival celebrates the ongoing relationship between Berry College and Ford Motor Company, which began in the 1920's when Martha Berry persuaded Henry Ford and his wife Clara, to visit the school.

Field judging begins on Saturday at noon. Thirty classes will be field judged for the event.

A gaslight parade through downtown is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday night.

Particpation in the Berry College Ford Festival is limited to vehicles manufacted and powered by Ford Motor Company through 1985.
