The Rocket City Trash Pandas got some revenge on the Chattanooga Lookouts on Saturday night with a 10-3 pounding after the Lookouts had won three of the first four games of the series.
Lookouts starting pitcher T.J. Sikkema had a forgettable start surrendering six earned runs on seven hits. The first four Trash Pandas reached in the fifth inning ultimately tacking on five runs to take a 6-2 lead. They would add two more in the seventh and ninth inning.
Chattanooga had only six total hits on the evening and were struck out 15 times. Jay Allen II hit his sixth homerun out of the cleanup spot. Sikkema falls to 3-2 on the season with the loss.
The two teams meet Sunday afternoon at 1:15 p.m. est for the series finale after which the Lookouts have a four day break. They'll travel to Pensacola on Friday to begin a nine game road trip.
