Louise Barlow Carson, 90, of Chattanooga, died on November 5, 2004 at Life Care Center of East Ridge.
Mrs. Carson, a native of Jonesboro, AK, was born the daughter of the late Joseph Augustin and Nellie Meredith Barlow.
She worked for many years at Brock Candy Company and also at Brach’s Confections.
She enjoyed the craft of rug hooking. She especially enjoyed meeting and visiting with her many friends while hooking rugs. She was a long time member of the National Guild of the Pearl McGown Rug Hookrafters.
Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Andrew Carson, Jr. and by a sister, Ann B. Graham.
She is survived by John M. and Sue Ellen Graham of Greenwell Springs, LA, Dr. Richard R. and Dr. Patricia M. Graham of Baton Rouge, LA, and Bennie and Frances Carson of Chattanooga. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
