Russell R. Arnold, 85, a lifelong resident of Red Bank, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 in a local healthcare facility.

After graduating from Wiley School of Business, he worked at Southern Railway. Before Russell retired, he was the owner of A&P Insurance Agency for 35 years and was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Beatrice Arnold.

Russell is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene Barger, and his daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Bob Wiedeke, Cheryl Arnold and Don Van Pernis and Catherine Arnold.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday with Reverend Fred Steelman and Reverend Bert Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Thursday.
