Robert Douglas “Doug” Sweatt, Jr., of Soddy-Daisy died on Sunday, August 29, 2004.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Sweatt was a contractor for No Sweatt Construction and Remodeling Company.

His father, Robert Douglas Sweatt, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Sweatt, Soddy-Daisy; sister, Tisherrie (David) Bradshaw, Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Dwight (Tracy) Sweatt and C.E. "Jay" (Ruth) Camp, both of Chattanooga; maternal grandmother, Alma Patton, Chattanooga; paternal grandmother, Velva Barron, Bullhead City, AZ; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Stuart Heights Baptist Church from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, with the service beginning at 2 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Robert Douglas Sweatt, Jr. Memorial Fund, AmSouth Bank.
