Carlton Dean Drake, 69, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, after a long illness.
Mr. Drake retired from Burner Systems of Chattanooga in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Drake and Delores Brosemer, and one son, Jimmy Robison.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sarah Ellen Drake; seven children, Douglas Peter Drake, David Vickers, Douglas Dean Drake, Debbie Lamance, Daniel Drake, Dennis Drake and Denice Darlene Ellis; 18 grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. John Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Collier Cemetery in Pikeville, TN.
