Thelma Lee Tinnon, 93, of Chattanooga died on Tuesday, October 25, 2005.
She was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ, active in church work, and would rarely miss a service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Woodrow W. Tinnon; parents, Jack and Geneva Tanton; a sister, Odell Krichbaum; three brothers, Louie Tanton, Arthur Tanton and James Tanton; grandson, Craig Tinnon.
She is survived by her three sons, Charles Tinnon and wife, Karen of Lobeville, TN, David Tinnon and wife, Charlotte and Tommy Tinnon and wife, Connie, all of Chattanooga; brother, Edward L. Tanton, Waukegan, IL; granddaughter, Amber Tinnon; great-granddaughter (daughter of Janet and Craig Tinnon), Kayla Tinnon; two step-granddaughters, Allison Petty and husband Douglas, Ooltewah, TN, and Audra Green and husband, Allen, Collierville, TN; four step-great grandchildren, Bailey Petty, Addyson Petty, Parker Green and Ansley Green; several nieces and nephews. Thelma will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
