Dr. Patel Joins Beacon Health Alliance OB/GYN

Manisha Patel, M.D., a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined Beacon OB/GYN with Beacon Health Alliance, P.C.; an affiliate of Memorial Health Partners.

Dr. Patel is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1996. She also earned her medical degree and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Dr. Patel received the award for Recognition of Excellence in Medical Student Education in 2001, 2004 and 2005. She also received the 2004 American Association of Gynecologist Laparoscopy Award and the Argus Award for Recognition for Excellence in Medical Student Education in 2001 and 2004.

Dr. Patel is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is looking forward to establishing a broad-based practice and also has a special interest in adolescent gynecology.

Appointments are being accepted for new patients at two of the Beacon OB/GYN locations – 979 East Third Street and 1751 Gunbarrel Road in Brainerd. For appointments call 423-778-9500.
