Worked For City Of East Ridge Over 30 Years

Lee Witt, 50, died on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in a local hospital.

Lee worked with the city of East Ridge for over 30 years, and he was a former member of the Volkswagen Club in Cleveland, Tn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Headrick Witt.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Chris Witt, of Rossville; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and J.R. Hancock, of Chattanooga; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Rendi Witt, of Chattanooga; daughters, Mandy Witt, of Chattanooga, Anita Witt, of Rossville; brother, Rick Witt, of Chattanooga; sister, Colleen Johnson, of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, Hunter, Austin, Baleigh, Harmony, Mason, Kaitlynn, Paige, Jaden, Braylon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

His family will receive friends all day Sunday and prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
