Walter Howard Williams, 72, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, February 12, 2010 in a local hospital.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a son of the late Levi and Sara Thomas Williams.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Williams and Wendell Williams.
Mr. Williams was a member of Brainerd Hills Presbyterian Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, lifelong conservationist and entrepenuer.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and William Ruffner III, Chattanooga; two brothers, Earl D. Williams, Harold H. Williams, sister, Sara W. Davis, two grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Brainerd Hills Presbyterian Church with Pastor Roop officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.
