Local Premiere Of Citizen Architect Is June 3

The local premiere of Citizen Architect, the 60-minuted documentary about the late architect Samuel Mockbee and the radical educational design/build program known as the Rural Studio, will be show at green|spaces on Thursday, June 3.

A welcome reception will be hosted by Big River Grille at 6 p.m. and the film will be shown at 6:30 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m. will be a discussion with filmmakers Sam Douglas and Jack Sanders, followed by a panel discussion with current students and local graduates of the Rural Studio - Heather Adcox, Josh Cooper, Thomas Palmer, Craig Peavy and Brad Shelton.

The event is sponsored by green|spaces, Big River Grille and AIA Chattanooga.

Tickets are $10 per person or $5 for AEC Donors and AIA members, and include food and drinks, film and program.
