Groundbreaking For New Ooltewah Elementary School Is Tuesday

Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Rick Smith has announced a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Ooltewah Elementary School is planned for Tuesday at 2 p.m.   

The ceremony will take place at the new Ooltewah Elementary site, 8890 Katniss Lane, first road to the right past McKenzie Farms Subdivision, off Ooltewah-Georgetown Road, approximately three miles past Ooltewah High School.

The school is a $21.5 million project with a 1,100 student capacity and is scheduled to open in August 2013.
