Virginia Patterson
Virginia Eichorn Patterson, 84, of Soddy Daisy, died on April 10, 2012.
Virginia was born on March 12, 1928 to the late Vaughn and Ethel Eichorn. She was a member of the Abba’s House and the Eastern Star. She was retired from Hamilton County Schools at Red Bank Elementary and Hixson High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Clarence “Pat” Leon Patterson.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Vaughn E. (Mary) Patterson, Douglas L. Patterson, sister, Mary Yoh, her only granddaughter, Bethany Nicole Patterson, stepgrandchildren, Jessica Faith Reagan, Lauren Hope Reagan, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at the funeral home.
