Timothy Samuel Austin Sr., 52, of Chatsworth, GA, died on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, GA.
Timothy was born April 25, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Etta Hinkle Kidd; and brother, Scotty Austin.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Heery Austin of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Cathy Austin of Chatsworth, Tim and Cindy Austin of Chatsworth and Harry and April Austin of Chatsworth; daughter, Sara Austin of Chatsworth; father, Robert “Sonny” Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Patricia Austin of Chatsworth and Danny and Tiffani Jump of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Theresa Austin of Athens, TN and Maria Barrett of Rocky Face, GA; sister and brother-in-law Danita and Stan Williams of Ten Mile, TN; nine grandchildren with one on the way; four great- grandchildren; and special daughter, Destin Redwine of Resaca, GA.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Samuel Austin Sr. will be held Monday, October 7, at 4 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Edwin Puckett and Reverend Curtis Moore officiating. Interment will follow the service at Murray Memorial Gardens, with Jimmy Duncan, Harvey Redwine, Brenan Tittle, Marshall Dale, Jason Wheat and Chuck Heery serving as pallbearers.
