Wheeler Turner Cage, 84, of Hixson, died on December 20, 2013.
Wheeler lived most of his life in the Hamilton County area. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. Wheeler retired from Mueller Industry with 37 years of service.
Wheeler served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Wheeler was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wheeler Turner Cage Sr., and Marguerite Hamilton Cage Allen, step father, Tyson Allen, grandmother, Sally Hamilton Cunningham; step grandfather, Dr. J. C. Cunningham; aunt, Gladys Rheaume; cousin, Jack Hamilton.
Wheeler is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wilma Cage; and son, Christopher Allen Cage.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister David Schonhoff officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
