Tamara Ashley Jones, 16, of Dunlap, TN, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 12, 2014. 

She was a former student and cheerleader at Sequatchie County High School. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She loved to sing, draw, dance, cheer, tumble, travel and take selfies. 

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Mildred Smith; and grandmother, Freda Smith (Jeff Morgan). 

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Wanda Grant Johnson and Joey Johnson, Dunlap; father, Adam Jones, Dunlap; brothers, Steven Jones, Tao Johnson and Ty Johnson; grandparents, Loyd Grant, Lavern and Janie Johnson, Mike and Doris Jones; uncles, Tim (Denise) Grant, Bobby (Marie) Johnson, Ace (Kerry) Jones, Michael (Nicola) Jones, Jon (Melinda) Jones and Kevin Johnson; aunts, Lesa Grant (Keith Hobbs) and Vicki (James) Bradford; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Mallory Cranfill. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Wednesday, April 16, in the Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Michael Grant and Bro. Matt Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Bud Smith Cemetery in Bledsoe County. 

The family will receive friends from 1-9 p.m. CDT Tuesday, April 15 at the Ewton Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
