Dalton State Women's Golf To Play This Weekend At Callaway Gardens

Pine Mountain, GA – The (8) Dalton State women’s golf team began their first ever spring schedule this morning with the first day of the two-day Callaway Open at the Par-71, 5808 yards Callaway Gardens Lakeview Course.

“We are excited to get the spring season underway,” Roadrunner golf coach Jim McGrew said today. “The girls have worked extremely hard in tough conditions and are ready to compete. We know this is just a start as we move through the next phase of our season in preparation for the conference tournament.”

In addition to the #8 ranking for the team going into the spring schedule, the Erika Wardzinski is ranked #13, Caroline Griffin is 46th and Julia McQuilken is ranked 56th.

The (11) Dalton State men are scheduled to begin spring golf Monday and Tuesday in Albany, GA.
