Mary Clarice Hartman
Mary Clarice Hartman, 79, of Hixson, died on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in an area hospital.
She was born on Sept. 20, 1935 in Hixson, to the late Jimmy and Mary LeVan. Mrs. Hartman was a devoted Christian and loved working with children and singing in the choir in church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Hartman; sister, Dot LeVan Conner; grandparents, Albert and Eugenia Westbrook.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Hartman; brother, Michael (Janie) LeVan; sisters, Anna (Harold) Knowles and Jimmie Lou (Wayne) Sims; special nephew, Scott Conner; five nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Cape officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
