Joy Hathorn, 46, of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home.

She was a lifelong resident of Lafayette and had worked as a manager at Hardees, Color Spectrum, and was currently employed at Roper. Joy loved her family and her two dogs, Tiny and Skittles. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working in the yard, rappelling and caving. Joy also loved fast cars, big off-road trucks, and music especially the “Doors”.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marion Stoker.

Survivors include her husband, Jarrod Hathorn; daughter, Cameron Hathorn; mother, Louise Stocker; three brothers, Ronnie Stoker, Michael (Donna) Brown, and Shannon (Ines) Stoker; aunt, Linda Williams; cousin, Wendy Meyers; and nephew, Jesse Stoker.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
