St. Andrew’s-Sewanee returned home Thursday night to face a traditional foe on top of the mountain against Grundy County. In what was a spirited match, it was the Lady Yellow Jackets that prevailed in 4 sets to win the match. Set scores were: 17- 25, 25-21, 21-25, 13-25.
Coach Zeitler felt that there was a lot of learning that happened during the match and that will only serve to better prepare the team for the postseason. The Lady Mountain Lions will travel to Notre Dame on Thursday. Game time is 5 pm.
