Gibson, Isabell Morgan (Cleveland)

Isabell Morgan Gibson, 89, of Cleveland, TN, died on Monday, April 13, 2015.

Isabell was born on May 26, 1925 to the late James & Eliza Morgan. She was retired from Charleston Hosiery. Isabell was of the Baptist faith and a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her children and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Gibson; two sisters, Anna Lou Gibson and Neota Nichols; three brothers, W. A. Morgan, J. R. Morgan and David Morgan; and a special niece, Judy Ann Gray. 

Isabell is survived by two daughters, Brenda Kay Gibson and Wanda Sue Bottoms and her husband Gary; two grandchildren, Grant Taylor Bottoms and Matthew Paul Bottoms and his wife Brittany; numerous other extended family members and church family members; and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at the New Friendship Baptist Church located at 1344 Chatata Valley Road NE in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Eric Atkins, the Reverend Larry Bryant and the Reverend Earl Farris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Alan Gray, Doug Gibson, Logan Gibson, Jimbo Nichols and Zachary Murphy serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons Matthew and Grant Bottoms. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the church.
