Walker County Couple Arrested On Multiple Auto Thefts

Criminal warrants have been issued for a Walker County couple charging them with 16 counts of entering autos in the Mission Glen Subdivision in Rossville and Glen Eden Subdivision in Lafayette, as well as two counts of motor vehicle theft, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.

Arrested and housed in the Hamilton County Tennessee jail are Terry Alan Whitt, Sr., 28, 44 Cathy Lane, Rossville and Whitney Roach, 24, 10th Street, Chickamauga.

The couple was arrested last Tuesday by East Ridge Police Department at the Rite Aid on Ringgold Road after an investigation revealed they were driving a stolen Saturn and Acura.

The couple has a court date in East Ridge on Tuesday. They will be extradited to Walker County in the near future, the sheriff said.
