Franklin Wealth Management, a Chattanooga-based financial services firm, announced the addition of Corey Higby to the team.

Hired in August, Mr. Higby will join the team in the role of Operations Specialist. He will assist the wealth advisors by facilitating the opening of new accounts, handling contributions and distributions, and meeting with clients during office visits to ensure that Franklin Wealth is providing the most individualized customer service possible.

With a strong background in client relations and administrative management, Mr. Higby previously worked as a senior closing agent in the mortgage industry for over a decade.

“We are thrilled to have Corey join our team and know that he will be a valuable resource both internally and for our clients,” said Joe Franklin, president of Franklin Wealth Management. “As our business expands, it will always remain our primary mission to provide clients with paramount customer service. Rounding out our team with the addition of Corey, given his industry experience and management skills, will allow us to confidently move forward in this direction.”

In addition to the hiring of Higby, Franklin Wealth has also announced the promotion of Tanner Beverly as a licensed paraplanner with the firm. Initially joining the firm as an intern in December 2014, Mr. Beverly will now assist the wealth advisors in preparing financial plans and presenting client investment updates, as well as developing educational information and publications. He will also be responsible for implementing the firm’s technology improvement strategy, utilizing the Orion Advisor Services platform to streamline performance reporting and trading processes.

Mr. Beverly currently holds the Series 7 securities license. “We are energized that Tanner has proven to go above and beyond and has been a dedicated member of our team. Tanner is prepared to contribute to the firm at an even higher degree,” said Mr. Franklin.
