Reading Retreat For The Pope's Encyclical On Care Of Our Common Home Is Sept. 19

A Reading Retreat for the Pope's Encyclical On Care of Our Common Home will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 2:30-6:30 p.m.  It will be a gathering to discuss the 72 page pdf document, 'Laudato Si', Pope Francis's dialogue regarding man-made climate change and related issues.    

The event will be held at Pavillion 2, RiverPark behind the old Science Building at Chattanooga State. 

Participants will picnic and share thoughts with one-another.

COP21, the next United Nations Conference on Climate Change, takes place in Paris Nov.30 - Dec. 11.  The Pope visits New York City Sept. 24.
