Chattanooga Gang Member Gets Life In Prison For Knoxville Killing

A Chattanooga gang member has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder in Knoxville.

Jamar Laquinn Frazier, 28, was convicted following a three-day trial.

Witnesses said he chased down another man and shot him in the head twice.

Police said Frazier is a member of the Black Crime Family, which is associated with the Gangster Disciples.

The fatal shooting happened July 3, 2012.

Frazier will not be eligible for parole until he serves 51 years in prison.
