Old Dominion Announced For Riverbend 2017

With 3 Top Ten singles in the past year, Old Dominion is one of the fastest rising stars in the Country music world.  Old Dominion’s management is Dale Morris, who also manages superstars Kenny Chesney and Jake Owen, and they have a track record of finding talent that reaches the upper echelon of the industry. Sunday night, June 11, Old Dominion will headline the Coca-Cola Stage at Riverbend, playing from 9:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Former Prince vocalist and keyboardist, Sheila E will bring her action packed show to Riverbend on Thursday, June 15 at 9:30 p.m. Her collaboration with Prince on Purple Rain and some of his other songs launched a career that includes her number one dance hit, The Glamorous Life.Take a look at this video and see how many famous performers you recognize in this version of the Glamorous Life - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBLnCo_NbaE .

One of the biggest shows in Riverbend history on the Bud Light Stage was this past summer when The Purple Xperience performed before thousands. Dixie Fuller, Friends of the Festival Talent Coordinator, has brought them back for 2017. The Prince tribute band features members of Prince’s band, the Revolution. This time, they will headline the Coke Stage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.

Hamilton Place Mall is selling Riverbend wristbands for the discounted rate of just $39 until Christmas Eve. They are also available online for $42 plus fees at www.riverbendfestival.com. Reserved star seats out in front of the Coke Stage are also available online.

A special Holiday package consisting of two wristbands and 20 tokens for just $88 is available at www.riverbendfestival.com. Look for the Holiday Package banner and click on it. These must be picked up at the Friends of the Festival office and are not available for shipping.
