2 Killed, 1 Critical In Wrecks On Vincent Road, Bonny Oaks Drive

Police were investigating two fatal wrecks in Hamilton County on Thursday.

One was around 10:30 a.m. in the 5700 block of Vincent Road near Champion Road.

Carter Wiseman was killed in the incident. He was between the door and frame of a 2004 Toyota Four Runner when it rolled down a hill and rolled over causing fatal injuries to him.

Another involved the head-on crash of two small sedans at Jersey Pike and Bonny Oaks Drive around noon.

Elizabeth Bodaly, 39, was killed. Chelsea A. Finnigan, 24, was critically injured.

Chattanooga Police responded to the 6100 block of Bonny Oaks Drive. Initial responding officers provided traffic control while Hamilton County EMS  dealt with those involved in the wreck.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by Chattanooga Police traffic investigators.

Police said a vehicle driven by Ms. Finnigan was traveling east on Bonny Oaks Drive when it crossed the double yellow line into westbound lanes.

A vehicle traveling west on Bonny Oaks Drive driven by Ms. Bodaly collided head-on with the eastbound vehicle.

Ms. Bodaly died at the scene.

Ms. Finnigan was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
