Richard Edwin Minton, 80, of Dunlap, Tennessee, died Saturday March 18, 2017.
He was of Baptist faith.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Pearl Tate Minton of Cagle; and nephew, Edwin Pay Minton of Hixson;
Survivors are his brother, John Doyle (Alene) Minton, Dunlap; and nephew, Ronnie Doyle (Larry Hullander) Minton, of Chattanooga.
Richard's family extends sincere thanks for the more than 20 years of loving care given to him by all of the nurses, aides and doctors at NHC of Dunlap.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at Cagle Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Bro. Howell Whited officiating. There will be no visitation.
