Paul Ruth, 56, of Athens, Tennessee, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
The son of Bobby and Joann Ruth, Paul was born on February 9, 1961 in Athens. In his free time, Paul loved to go fishing.
Paul was preceeded in death by his grandmother, Stella Cross; and grandparents, Raymond and Eulia Ruth.
He is survived by his mother and father Bobby and Joann Ruth; fiancée, Anita Rice; sons Bobby Ruth and his wife Claire, Jacob Ruth and Timothy Hawkins and his wife Kim; step-daughter Amanda Grider-West; and five grandchildren, Macie, Jackson, Chandler, Kaitlin and Hannah.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday March 8, at Prospect Church of God located at 2220 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday March 9, at the church with Rev. Timothy Gann officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
