June 14 Shooting Of Teenager On Old Orchard Knob Ruled Accidental

The shooting of a 16-year-old on Old Orchard Knob on June 14, has been ruled accidental.

After a thorough investigation, CPD homicide investigators determined the initial information reported to be unfounded.

Investigators ruled this shooting to be an accidental, self-inflicted incident. 

The victim originally said he was walking along the side of the road when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been shot.
